Action Points – PPC Meeting 9 February 2018
We are still waiting to hear from the council with regards disabled parking spaces outside the church. We have contacted them on numerous occasions.
The PPC has agreed that it is necessary for some parts of the church to have electronic candles. The PPC members felt that it is important to act before an accident occurs. It is imperative that children are supervised in church.
Our Lenten charities this year are “Just Youth” and the “Provision of Portable Water for 2 villages in Africa”. Father David Pember from Just Youth will be here over the weekend of 24/25 February to tell us more about the charity. Father Jude will be here from Rome over Easter to explain more about the Portable Water Project. Please think of ways that you or your group can support our Lenten Projects and inform the Parish Office of your ideas.
Our Parish Mission is fast approaching. It begins on 14 April and ends with a Parish Lunch on Sunday 29 April. Do keep up to date with the parish website and send suggestions to the Parish Webmaster whose details can be found on the Bulletin.
